Well, we had a good day at the Buckingham 2016 Spring Fair. The weather was perfect, and it brought out the public to see what was going on. Nadia, Ingrid and john turned up to staff the stall - Nadia spent lots of time talking to interested people, and informing the hedgehog group about the EW. Ingrid had made garlic mustard pesto, which was sold out at the end of the day. Here is a link to some instructions on how to make it here

There were many people who stopped to chat, and we got another list of email addresses to add to the directory. Everyone who stopped to talk was supportive and genuinely interested. There were many who said they would now go and have a look at the site.

We also sold some seeds that we had from last year, gave out leaflets for those who were interested, and sold some currant bushes that Simon planted last year. Unfortunately we we're not sure which bushes were which - a bit of a lucky dip.

Samantha Whitehead was at the event, and she has an interesting stall. Sam has supported us since the start, and her ideas and products are local and natural. The first time we went to the fair, she was educating children and adults about bees, honey, and wax. What she makes includes soaps, skin creams, and wax products. She works on a working farm, and also manages to do all of this too. She is a master bee keeper, and many of her products are made from her bee wax. Here is a link to her website if anyone is interested http://www.naturalpampering.co.uk/
